SHOTS FROM AN UNWRITTEN STORY
is a project constructed in the form of several video clips in which I attempt to question the notions of time, space, and trajectory.
These images were taken throughout my life, some dating back to when I was still a child, others were captured very recently, but all speak to this notion of interstices—small empty spaces between the parts of a whole—which I like to explore around the various inanimate territories I've since entered, where only the traces of our fleeting passages remain. It's a gaze into the void, where I like to document these fragments of a time gone by, of undefined but domesticated (artificialized) landscapes then forgotten, filled with these beings who surround us but whom we no longer see.
The videos start randomly. There is no specific beginning - or end; the installation plays like several loops that play continuously, respond to each other and merge.
